The Fine Print 1. 2 night minimum rental. Excludes Holidays. 2. This is an ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING HOUSE OR ON THE ENCLOSED PORCH. We do not smoke so smoking in the house will be very noticible to us. You may smoke OUTSIDE ONLY with the doors closed. Please do not throw butts on the ground. Violations will result in forfeiture of entire deposit. 3. Pets Allowed on a case by case basis. Contact us for information and consideration. *****We usually make exceptions for hunters or guests with outside, well trained and absolutely housebroken dogs but this is on a per rental basis and is solely at our discretion and an additional deposit may be required. We have pets and love them so we understand. When pets are allowed tenants are required to "pooper-scoop" after pets and repair any damage to yard. Pets are not allowed on the furniture. Pets may not run freely about the neighborhood, must not have fleas and must be confined to a leash or the back yard. (We do not want pets chasing the geese and ducks or getting into the nieghbor's yard.) 4. This is a waterfront home. Children must be supervised at all times around the water and while on the fishing pier. The water is not deep but we strongly recommend life jackets (we have provided a few life jackets for your convenience). It only takes a split second for an accident to happen. Stairs are also a concern where there are children. 5. We do not provide maid service durig your stay. Cleaning supplies are kept in the house for your convenience. Tenants are responsible for washing all dishes and general clean up. It is not necessary to make the beds. Since we currently do not charge extra for additional people, parties of 6 or more are responsible for washing of towels up to day of departure. Failure of large parties to comply will result in $50 being deducted from deposit. Please leave all other used linens out to be laundered. 6. We want you to have fun and enjoy your stay but PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY and be considerate of the neighbors. Large parties and loud partying are not aloud. ***NOTE*** The next door neighbor is my cousin. They are fairly tolerant and good natured but will call us if things get out of hand or if there is a problem. IF THE LAW IS CALLED TO THE PREMISES FOR ANY REASON YOUR RENTAL WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED WITHOUT REFUND. 7. A trash bin is centrally located downstairs. If you stay during the week, trash day is on Wednesdays and bin should be placed at the end of the drive. 8. The phone is shared between the upper and lower floors. We do not have any long distance service, only local. If you wish to make a long distance call you will need to have a calling card, cell phone or bill it to a third party. 9. For emergency dial 911. Emergency Information is located by phones or on refrigerators. 10. If you choose to walk around in the waters and explore during low tide near the house we strongly recommend wearing tennis or water shoes due to the razor sharp oyster shells in the water. 11. The extras and conveniences we keep in the house are for your use and we restock them as needed. They are not, however, there for you to take home at the end of your stay. Please help us to continue to be able to do this and leave what you don't use for the next person. ****Essentials provided are bath and hand soap, toilet paper (4), coffee, creamer & filters, trash bags (8), dish soap and 2 rolls of paper towels are provided for your stay. ****Amenities provided for your use include laundry soap, fabric softener, dish soap, dish washer soap (up), spray starch, air freshener, assorted cleaning supplies, a fix it drawer, a sewing kit, outdoor kid toys, life jackets, fishing poles, binoculars, bathroom hand mirror, coloring books & crayons and board games. ****Extras are provided for your use but are not guaranteed and include a few toiletries, office needs, 1st aid supplies, sometimes cheap wine, bottled water cooler (no refill) and a few other things. We usually keep frozen bait in freezer. If it is in the house, you are welcome to use it. 12. We have provided maps and directions to various things to do for your convenience. Please leave them for the next rental. You may call us locally for any additional directions or information you may need. 13. Keys - All keys issued must be returned upon departure. Lost keys require a $100 re-keying fee per lock. Each floor has a seperate key so if entire house is rented and both keys are lost it is $200. There are no exceptions, as locks must be changed for security purposes. NOTE: Upon booking and rental all forms (Rental Agreement, Rental Liability Waiver, Fine Print/Rules) must be completed. Additional details will be provided at this time. |
